Lisa Gmitter-Pittaro is considered as one of the most respected and accomplished soccer players of New Jersey. She was named by the Newark Star Ledger as New Jersey’s “first true H.S. finisher.” Lisa continued her passion for the game at the collegiate level winning a National Championship at George Mason University. She later was selected to the first US Women’s National Team in 1986. She has played with some of the top players in the world, including: Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Christine Lilly and Michele Akers.
