Lisa Gmitter-Pittaro

Camp Director

Lisa Gmitter-Pittaro  is considered as one of the most respected and accomplished soccer players of New Jersey. She was named by the Newark Star Ledger as New Jersey’s “first true H.S. finisher.” Lisa continued her passion for the game at the collegiate level winning a National Championship at George Mason University. She later was selected to the first US Women’s National Team in 1986. She has played with some of the top players in the world, including:  Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Christine Lilly and Michele Akers. She also has been coached by our countries greatest coaches, Anson Dorance and Toni DiCico. Here are some of Lisa’s achievements ------------------------------>

  • Selected to NCAA Division I, 25th Anniversary Team

  • Selected to NCAA Division I “Team of the Decade”

  • Named to NJ Star Ledger’s , NJ Women’s Soccer Team of the Century

  • Offensive MVP Final Four National Championship, George Mason University

  • NCAA Division I, Women’s Soccer Player of the Year, 1985

  • Four Year First Team All American, George Mason University

  • Three Year First Team High School All American,  Steinert High School

  • US Women’s National Team Member, Four Years

  • Inducted to Mercer County & Steinert High School’s Hall of Fame

  • 25 Years Coaching Experience

  • NJ ODP Head Coach U-15, Selected to Regional Staff
